Abraham Matovu


A native Ugandan, Abraham Matovu has more than 5 years experience working to educate and empower Ugandan youth. Known affectionately as “Uncle Ibra,” Abraham is passionate about African culture, fashion design, and working with children. His dream is to establish a child care facility for vulnerable Ugandan children, especially street children and orphan who lost their parents to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Abraham is the co-founder of the Amagezi Gemaanyi Youth Association, a grassroots non-governmental organization that serves more than 200 women and children in Uganda's urban slums.
